Not enough space for system image Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I have a new computer that is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with the following configuration:
Boot Drive (C:) = 180 GB OCZ Vertex 2 SandForce Solid State Drive. Used space = 84.7 GB Free Space = 82.8 GB
Data Drive (E:) = 1.0 TB Western Digital Caviar Black Used Space = 120 MB Free Space = 931 GB
Data Drive (F:) = 2.0 TB Western Digital Caviar Black Used Space = 43.7 GB Free Space = 1.77 TB
I just finished installing all programs on the Boot Drive complete with all recent updates and wish to create a System image file. When trying to create a system image file to either of the Data drives above (which obviously have more than enough space
to create the system image) I get an error message as follows:
"The backup failed. There is not enough space to create the volume shadow copy on the storage location......(0x80780119)", within the error message it goes on to say to make sure that you have enough space to create the system image etc. Any suggestions
on what to do so I can create a system image file?
